What We Believe

The Bible:

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error and the final authority for our everyday lives.

The Trinity:

We believe in one God who exists in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The Saviour:

We believe Jesus Christ is both Lord and God. We acknowledge his virgin birth, real humanity, sinless life and authoritative teaching. His sacrificial, atoning sacrifice on the cross and his physical resurrection from the grave.

The Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit is God and his work in conviction people of sin, repentance and the need for forgiveness. He empowers all believers to be a witness for Jesus Christ through the baptism in the Holy Spirit.


We believe in the absolute sinfulness of all mankind since the fall of Adam, rendering man subject to God’s judgement.


We believe in the absolute necessity for salvation by faith for every human being where the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace and received by faith when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

The Church:

We believe in the Holy Church comprising of every person who genuinely accepts Jesus Christ as their only Saviour.

The Ordinances:

We believe in the baptism by water of believers by full immersion and the celebration of Christ’s victorious death by participation in communion.

The Second Coming of Christ:

We believe in the personal, physical and visible return of Jesus Christ.

The Future:

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the final judgement of Jesus Christ for the world.
